Scope and Contents: From 1921 to 1953 Linnell taught Carleton music students how to teach music in the public schools. This collection of her papers is comprised of course notes Linnell took while a student at the Crane Institute of Music, a bibliography of musical pieces for her work at Pennsylvania Teachers College, notes from two courses (History of the Modern World, 1923-24; General Botany [?], 1926-27) she took at Carleton toward her B.A. from Columbia (1928), and teaching notes for her course at Carleton on Public School Music (1932-33).
