Scope and Contents: Scattered material related to the exploration, writing, and teaching activities of the long-time Carleton Professor of Geology. (The bulk of Stewart's papers were deposited with the Center for Polar Archives at the National Archives.) The collection includes a photocopy of Stewart's experiences during a 1928 expedition to Greenland, a diary of a trip to Capetown (1963), Geology Department annual reports, bibliographic card files, and correspondence after his death concerning the disposition of his papers.
