Since the material was recovered from the trash, it is incomplete as a record group and all of the series and folders are also incomplete.  The Geology 8 materials include the course proposal and description in addition to student essays.  The Alumni Surveys were part of the effort to publish a departmental history--the forms asked for information about the education, careers, families, and publications of department majors.  Some forms include reminiscences and anectdotes as well.
